This highlights again a common problem across Australian cities, where aircraft operators design operations based on an "ideal", but in actual operation use different alternatives. Generally this results in one group suffering much greater noise levels.

From NoiseNets' perspective, it highlights how important it is to understand the actual measured noise levels and not to rely on the more readily available 'plan' data.
